The EasyBuild User Meeting brings together experienced users, developers and maintainers to exchange knowledge and explore advanced use cases of EasyBuild and open-source tools.

The next edition of UMinho Open Doors (UPA) will take place on 5, 6 and 7 March 2026, at the Azurém campus in Guimarães. The initiative showcases the university’s educational offering through an exhibition of all UMinho’s Schools and Institutes. In addition, UPA also offers visits to the facilities and the opportunity to learn about and experience its resources through guided tours, workshops, lectures, and other activities.
UPA is an opportunity to learn about the infrastructure and services that UMinho offers the student community for the pursuit of studies and the development of cross-cutting tools, which are so important for the integration of future professionals into the labour market.
The activities are free, have limited places and are available upon registration (individual or group) for 9th grade and secondary school students, teachers, vocational counsellors, parents and guardians.

Between February 2 and 6, 2026, INESC TEC will welcome all high school students to showcase the institute’s science and technology work, during the second edition of the initiative “Discovering the wonderful world of science and engineering”.
There are 11 activities in different areas – Power and Energy, Robotics (Marine, Industrial, and Agricultural), Artificial Inteligence, and Communications; all participants with benefit from special knowledge on said topics, with practical learning experiences at the laboratories, guided by the researchers themselves.
During the INESC TEC open week, high-school students from Braga and surrounding areas can step inside Deucalion, the Portugal’s supercomputer, and join hands-on experiences on supercomputing and AI.

On Friday, September 26, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until midnight, the Forum Braga will come alive with experiments, performances, and conversations as the European Researchers’ Night (ERN) makes its return.
Since its creation by the European Commission in 2005, the European Researchers’ Night has brought science closer to citizens, showing its relevance to daily life and inspiring new generations of innovators. The programme promises a rich, hands-on journey into the worlds of physics, chemistry, biology, and beyond. For one afternoon and night, science will step out of the lab and into the city, reminding everyone that discovery is not reserved for specialists; it is a shared adventure that belongs to us all.

This dissemination event will bring together EuroHPC Users and will be the occasion for users to attend parallel sessions, learn about different topics and deepen their understanding on the possibilities offered by the EuroHPC JU. In this occasion, users will be invited to present their projects and experience, and the EuroHPC JU will create a book of proceedings with those projects that will submit their manuscripts.
