Meet Deucalion supercomputer

Deucalion is Portugal’s largest supercomputer, designed to drive cutting-edge science, innovation, and public administration through world-class advanced computing capabilities.

Hosted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and operated in partnership with CNCA, INESC TEC, and the University of Minho, Deucalion is also part of the European supercomputing network under the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, positioning Portugal at the forefront of Europe’s advanced computing ecosystem.

Officially inaugurated on September 6, 2023, in Guimarães, Deucalion marks a major milestone in strengthening national and European digital capabilities.
