Empowering open science through advanced computing.

Meet Deucalion supercomputer

The Deucalion supercomputer is the largest in Portugal, supporting science, innovation, and public services through advanced computing. Hosted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and operated by the National Center for Advanced Computing (CNCA), INESC TEC, and the University of Minho, it is part of the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, strengthening Europe’s computing capabilities. Inaugurated on September 6, 2023, in Guimarães, Deucalion reinforces Portugal’s role in the European digital landscape.
