Deucalion joined the latest meeting of EuroHPC Hosting Entities, held on 16–17 April in Luxembourg. Organised by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) in collaboration with LuxProvide, the two-day meeting brought together around 20 organisations responsible for operating EuroHPC supercomputers.
During this face-to-face meeting, the hosting entities reflected on their shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of European innovation in High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
The discussions also led to defining common grounds that will enable EuroHPC systems to operate cohesively and deliver high-quality services to users across Europe. The EuroHPC Federation Platform (EFP) was also highlighted as a key step towards a more unified and accessible European supercomputing environment. Deucalion is already integrated into this initiative, receiving its first projects through the platform and actively contributing to a more connected HPC ecosystem across Europe.
The group also had the opportunity to visit the MeluXina supercomputer, hosted by LuxProvide. This visit enabled a closer look at its operation, reinforcing the importance of knowledge sharing between hosting entities.
