Last week, the Deucalion team was at InovIA and shared the support that Deucalion can provide to this initiative. InovIA is a voucher program for innovation that provides easier access to supercomputers, such as Deucalion and MareNostrum 5, as well as the new AI Factory in Barcelona.
The InovIA program was created to provide easy, free access to advanced computing resources, enabling startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to have an environment for experimenting and testing high-performance solutions without the initial costs normally associated with investing in this technology.
The program’s goal is to enable the potential of these infrastructures for startups and SMEs to optimise processes, develop new products, and improve competitiveness in the market. Each initial voucher includes 50,000 CPU core hours, 1,000 GPU hours, and 1 TB of storage for six months with the possibility of reinforcing resources through evaluation.
National startups and SMEs, public and private entities in Portugal, and projects focused on innovation can apply to this initiative until December 31, 2026.
